Preparing for the hamam experience involves arriving with clean skin and bringing along a towel, flip-flops, and a change of underwear. Upon arrival at the hamam, you will be provided with a peştemal, a traditional cotton towel, to wrap around yourself before entering the steamy rooms. Following the scrub, you'll enjoy a luxurious soap massage, typically done with a lather created from olive oil soap. After the pampering treatment, you can rinse off under warm water or continue to relax in the steam room. The experience concludes with a tranquil moment in the hamam's lounge area, where you can sip on a cup of traditional Turkish tea and unwind. The best season to visit Istanbul largely depends on your preferences and the type of experience you seek. However, many travelers find that spring (April to May) and autumn (September to November) offer the most pleasant weather and ideal conditions for exploring the city. During these seasons, Istanbul enjoys mild temperatures, blooming flowers, and fewer crowds, making it perfect for sightseeing, outdoor activities, and enjoying the city's vibrant atmosphere.

Spring brings the city to life with colorful tulips and blossoming trees, creating a picturesque backdrop for visiting historical sites like the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Autumn offers mild temperatures, making it comfortable for exploring attractions such as the Blue Mosque and taking leisurely walks along the Bosphorus. Additionally, these seasons often coincide with local festivals and events, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in Istanbul's culture and traditions.

However, if you prefer warmer weather and lively summer vibes, June to August can also be a great time to visit, despite higher temperatures and more tourists.

Winter (December to February) brings cooler temperatures and occasional rain or snow, but it also offers a quieter and more intimate experience, especially around holiday festivities and the city's stunning Christmas decorations. Ultimately, the best time to visit Istanbul depends on your interests; whether it's exploring historical sites, enjoying outdoor activities, or experiencing the city's cultural events, each season offers its unique charm and experiences in this enchanting city.

In Istanbul, dining options cater to a diverse range of budgets and tastes, making it easy to find meals that suit your preferences. From street food stalls offering simit (sesame bread) and börek (pastries) to casual eateries serving traditional Turkish dishes, there is something for everyone. Local cafes provide an opportunity to enjoy a leisurely Turkish breakfast, while mid-range restaurants offer a mix of Turkish and international cuisines. For those seeking a more upscale experience, fine dining establishments in Istanbul showcase the city's culinary diversity and offer a chance to indulge in gourmet meals. Prices can vary widely depending on the type of establishment and location, so it's best to explore different dining options and discover hidden gems that fit your budget and culinary desires. Keep in mind that tipping is customary but not obligatory, with a tip of 5-10% generally appreciated for good service.

Credit System

When you purchase an Istanbul Tourist Pass®, you receive credit points based on the number of days you choose. These credit points allow you to visit various attractions during your stay.

Each attraction has a specific number of points. When you visit an attraction, the required number of points are deducted from your total available credit balance. You can check the number of points of each attraction in the app under its details section.

The total credit points of each pass depend on the pass duration you select and are subject to change based on the date of purchase due to cost increases and the price fluctuations of each activity.

If you use all your credit points or your points are not enough for admission to an activity, you can always purchase additional tickets or admissions to any activity of your choice with discounted prices much lower than the regular ticket or entry prices.

No, any remaining points will expire when your pass duration ends and cannot be carried over to a future visit. We recommend using all your credit points before your pass expires.

Any unused points will expire when your pass duration ends and cannot be carried over to a future visit.

However, if you haven’t used your pass at all due to unexpected circumstances (illness, last-minute plan changes, etc.) prevented you from using your pass or if you have only used up to 10% of your credit points, please contact our support team to explore refund options. You can easily reach us through the app or website.

You can check your remaining available credit points anytime in the app.
